Here are some pictures of my '56 wagon that I bought on eBay. Here is a shot right after picking up the car in Peoria, IL.  That's my buddy Dave's Dodge Ram pickup that we used to tow the car home.  Thanks Dave!  (photo 6/13/03)

The car didn't run or have brakes, so I had to tow it home.  It was located in Edwards, IL.... right outside of Peoria... about 420 miles away from home.

Okay, here are some updated pics of the wagon!!  Since the previous pictures, I've swapped the 3-on-the-tree with 4-speed, replaced the cam and lifters in the original 265 V8, added 2" drop spindles (and cut coils) along with power disc brakes up front, and 2" lowering blocks along with new drum brakes in the rear.  The wheels and tires pictured were borrowed from my '57 temporarily.  I've got new 15" steelies ordered and should get them soon. Okay, I have since replaced the 2bbl intake and carburetor with a 4bbl intake and carburetor that came of a '57 283.  I've also installed a '56 Cadillac air cleaner.  I had to modify a 14" dia. base to move the air cleaner approximately 1" forward for firewall clearance.
