Here is the engine mounted on the chassis. It is a 1970 350 with a 0.030" over bore. It has a Competition Cams cam and an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake. (Photo 11/1/99)

I have brakes!!!! Here are a few shots of the brake master cylinder/lines and some shots of the engine. I used a master cylinder off an '85 Chevy 1/2-ton truck (power brake MC). I chose this because it is made of aluminum with a plastic reservoir (no rust). The only modification required was to slightly enlarge the hole in which the MC passes through the firewall. The proportioning valve came off an '85 S-10 Blazer. I decided to without a booster to clean up the engine compartment a little more. All brakes lines are pre-bent stainless steel purchased from Inline Tube. Can't wait to try them out on the road........ better get the engine hooked up!! (Photos 7/3/02)

It's ALIVE!!! Got the engine started last night! This thing hasn't run in about 3-1/2 years! Fired right up! It's been a long time coming. Now I need to get back to the body work. (Photos 8/21/02)

Just got the exhaust installed. The 2.5" pipes are kept above the bottom of the frame the whole way back. They run over the transmission cross member and through the frame cross member that the drive shaft passes through (circled in red). The mufflers are located in front of the axle and the tailpipes just dump straight down as the exit the mufflers. Mufflers are Dynomax 2.5" Super Turbos. Exhaust was installed by Grain Valley Custom Muffler in Grain Valley, MO. (Photos 10/7/02)
